Liverpool Sound Concert to be heard for the first time in the U.S. on Paul McCartney’s Fireman Radio

WHAT: Paul McCartney and James Taylor will sit down for an intimate Fireside Chat to be broadcast on Paul McCartney’s Fireman Radio, the limited-run channel devoted to the music of Paul McCartney, in celebration of his new critically-acclaimed album recorded under the guise of McCartney’s alter ego, The Fireman. The legendary musicians will invite listeners to eavesdrop on their intimate one-on-one conversation during the exclusive Fireside Chat while they discuss their past together, including how Taylor was discovered and how McCartney was involved in Taylor’s signing to The Beatles’ Apple Records.
Beginning Monday, March 9, SIRIUS XM listeners will also hear an uninterrupted hour of music from The Fireman albums during the Fireman Chill Hour. Additionally, Paul McCartney’s Fireman Radio will broadcast a full hour of Paul McCartney rarities beginning Monday, March 9, featuring unreleased tracks and musical surprises from Paul’s vault.
SIRIUS XM will also broadcast Paul McCartney’s headlining performance from the Liverpool Sound Concert in June 2008. This broadcast will mark the first time this historic concert will be heard in the United States.
