Another actor that may have already been considered to portray Brian is James McAvoy. He played Robbie Turner in the Academy Award nominated movie, "Atonement." He was born on April 21, 1979 in Glasgow, Scotland. If James McAvoy has not been considered to portray Brian Epstein, I make this suggestion.
He actually had no inclination towards acting until film director David Hayman visited his school and gave pupils a talk. James was instantly intrigued and took his opportunity to ask for work experience. Four month later, Hayman called and offered James an actual audition which he won, and it led to his first part in the thriller "The Near Room". That was 1995.
Having done "a few bits and bobs" of acting through the years, he also auditioned for the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and was one of the few lucky people who got accepted. After graduating from drama school, he has not stopped working since.
He is another suggestion to play the part of Brian Epstein.

McAvoy's next film project is a comedy/thriller set in Dublin called Perrier's Bounty that is expected to co-star his wife, Anne-Marie Duff. Shooting is scheduled to begin sometime in 2008. He is also rumoured to be appearing in the movie Frost Flowers and Channel 4 mini series, The Devil's Whore.
His next film is Wanted, based on the comic book miniseries by the same name. McAvoy plays Wesley Gibson, a 25 year old employee who works in a cubicle. He is offered the opportunity to avenge the death of his father, who was an assassin. He is then trained by his father's partner, Sloan (Morgan Freeman), and by Sloan's second-in-command, played by Angelina Jolie. The film is set to be released on 27 June, 2008.
