BRIAN EPSTEIN AND THE BEATLES BESAME MUCHO Brian Epstein's voice is heard in the introduction before the song Besame Mucho. The Beatles often performed the song, Besame Mucho, during their public appearances. The Beatles decided to perform the song again, along with other songs, for the Decca Records audition on January 1, 1962. Unfortunately, The Beatles did not receive a recording contract. Brian explains his disappointment of having to tell his boys that they did not receive a recording contract from Decca. However, Brian explains his efforts of shortly meeting a record producer who will change their life. Again, Besame Mucho was performed for this audition and The Beatles successfully receive a recording contract from EMI Parlophone on June 6, 1962. Paul McCartney sings lead and Pete Best plays the drums on this EMI Parlophone audition. The Beatles recording of Besame Mucho was never officially released to the public.
