This I hadn't heard/read before, unless my memory is worse than I thought.
According to a book called Liddypool:Birthplace of The Beatles by David Bedford ~
---
According to the same book,
this is the list of expensive schools
Brian flunked out of, one by one:

I don't feel so bad now about Stephy, my talented Daughter of Doom.
You see, she also flunked out of preschool!
If they had had "learning disabled" classes in the 1930's, I'm sure that's where Brian would have been, just like Stephy ~ unless his parents would have kicked up a fuss about the stigma of it all. *sigh*
Sometimes kids who are labelled "learning disabled" are actually simply existing on a different, yet equal (or higher) level than the rest of the kids. Just look at Einstein.
In any case, flunking nursery school/preschool is an accomplishment of an entire different sort!
According to a book called Liddypool:Birthplace of The Beatles by David Bedford ~
"After Brian found fame, he moved his parents away from his childhood home and out to a beautiful bungalow in Gateacre called Treetops (Woolton), though sadly Brian’s father Harry died just a few months before Brian. Queenie eventually moved into a flat in Crompton’s Court, near Calderstones Park."

(expelled for being a problem child ~
"laziness and lack of concentration" ~

it was more likely anti-Semitism) - Wellesley School, Liverpool (Toxteth)
