Paul McCartney sing "Something" and Billy Preston sing "My Sweet Lord."
"Concert for George" was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 29 November 2002 as a memorial to George Harrison on the first anniversary of his death. The event was organized by George Harrison's widow, Olivia, and Harrison's son, Dhani, and arranged under the musical direction of Eric Clapton, with all profits from the event going to the Material World Charitable Foundation.
Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney share the stage with George's son, Dhani Harrison.
Harrison's mother Louise died in 1970 at age 58, of a cancerous brain tumor. His father Harold died in 1978, aged 68, of emphysema. Harrison married for a second time, to Olivia Trinidad Arias (born May 18, 1948) on September 2, 1978. They had one son, Dhani Harrison, George's only son born August 1, 1978. Dhani's name is pronounced similarly to the name 'Danny' but with an aspirated 'd'. He is named after two notes of the Indian music scale, 'dha' and 'ni'.
Dhani Harrison
Dhani looks so remarkably like his father that before the finale at the Concert for George, in which Dhani participated with a number of his father's friends, Paul McCartney relayed to the audience, "Olivia said that, 'With Dhani up on stage, it looks like George stayed young and we all got old.' "
