BABY YOU CAN DRIVE MY HARLEY whatgoeson.com Posted by Dave Haber Tuesday, 09/23/08 4:05 pm Rick Levitan in Potomac, MD, has created a one-of-a-kind, award-winning Beatles Bike. It's a Harley-Davidson - 2002 Dyna Wide Glide, with custom Beatles painting that looks good enough to be photos (but they're not), and a custom-made seat that looks like Beatles records. Why a Beatles Themed Bike? Simple. Rick says he's been a huge Beatles fan and collector since they first came to the US. After he got his Harley and started going to many of the dealerships and bike events he began admiring many of the custom bikes he saw. Not only Choppers, but Harley's with custom paint jobs and other modifications. He says, "I've seen a lot of really cool Choppers, but after a while they're hard to differentiate from each other. Most have flames and/or skulls, etc. However, the bikes that I've seen that really stick out in my mind have special, memorable themes. I think this bike falls into that category and will be one people remember long after they've seen it." Every part of the bike is specially painted or customized with the Beatles in mind, including the rear-view-mirrors that have Beatles concert tickets on the back and the bike's peace-sign kickstand. For more pictures and more information about the bike, visit Rick's website, www.beatlesbike.com/. www.whatgoeson.com/blog/the-beatles/200809231605/baby-you-can-drive-my-harley.html
