It's a kick seeing that many of these photos were originally from my own hard drive, uploaded to my (private) Photobucket, and then when I displayed them in various places (the most proliferate being LJ's BeatlePics), so many other sites took 'em and used 'em. Most people bitch and complain about not being "credited" but all I want is for everybody to see lots of Brian online, so I am more than thrilled by what's happened! I've got hundreds of Brian pics in my private Photobuckets that I use to illustrate posts. However, I've got a public repository of a very few (less than 200) of my Eppy images on Flickr. www.flickr.com/photos/eppylover/sets/72157601497360825/I had a lot more there, but unless you pay them ransom, oops, I mean purchase a "Pro" account for "only" $25/yr, they let you see only the last 200 images. I recently uploaded some images, and now I can't even see the first pics I uploaded a couple years back. Well, f*'em.

BTW, I notice that all the pics in your post are hotlinked. That's kind of a no-no *eppylover slaps yer patty*. But hell, I used to do that all the time before I knew better ~ and eventually, unless you're lucky, the pics turn into blanks (such as the Tripod placeholder above).
We're working toward having zillions of people enjoying this forum every day. With that many "web hits" on the pages, though, the bandwidth being eaten up by all these hotlinks would get ridiculous!
I now look at LJ posts I made two and three years ago, and am slightly red-faced to find many of the hotlinked pics gone. That makes for not much of an archive, especially if the pic was essential to the post.
They call hotlinking "bandwidth theft" because the more people who look at the page the photo resides on, the more bandwidth is used on whichever server the image is stored on. A lot of people seeing the pic costs a lot of money to whoever is hosting the pic. Overusage sometimes gets innocent users accounts suddenly charged a lot extra, or even blocked.
As long as the pics are here, just leave 'em now, because they are neat pics. But be prepared for the eventuality of seeing placeholders if the hosting servers discover them! :/ Some domains even use programs that monitor for hotlinking. Others, such as Tripod, Angelfire and Geocities, have an automatic image blocker that kicks in immediately.
Solution: It's really, really easy to get and to use a Photobucket or Flickr account for posting images.

I don't think I used the pictures from your location, although I think I did see some with your name attached; i.e., Christine Flickr. I found the photos in other locations using Yahoo. The Tripod did not appear on one of the pictures that was posted. It was not until you had mentioned it that I checked again, and voila! There it appeared! I then took it down because it looked ridiculous.
As far as Tripod, Angelfire, and Geocities, I really don't care for those sites. Thanks for the heads up.

Actually, if you're gonna hotlink anyway, I prefer you hotlink pics from my sites rather than using ones from anonymous sites. What I meant when I said they came from my hard drive is that these other sites copied them onto their own computers, uploaded them to their own servers, and then posted them. I recognize them mainly because I almost always crop and manip them so I'll recognize the difference later. There's a long story behind the one in the cowboy hat.
