From the "Candids" folder of my private Photobucket Summer 1967 The man on the right is Eric Clapton ~ ~ believe it or not! The next two are scanned out of the Geoffrey Ellis book, I Should Have Known Better From one of my 1964 British first editions of A Cellarful of Noise ~From the big poster included in the original White Album vinyl LP Finally, a contact sheet that was for sale on eBay a few years back ~ ~ a treasure that I unfortunately could not afford to buy ~ ~ but thankfully this image was on the page ~ ~ so even though it's poor quality, I was able to make a couple of LJ userpics from it. Some of the obviously rejected shots amuse me greatly. Being easily amused (or angered, or hurt, or verklempt) when it comes to all things Brian, I guess it just follows that I love this set of pics. *christine puts on her LOLerskates* ...........okay, i'm done

I love that picture of him larking about with the bass. It's obvious he doesn't have a clue how to play it, but it's so endearing! It makes me think of Hard Day's Night actually, the scenes when all the boys are fooling around in the dressing room. Maybe in some alternate reality version of the movie, Brian was there and joined in.

Emily, You might find this post + the following comments quite interesting: eppylover.livejournal.com/252244.htmlAbout the faulty imdb "trivia quiz" that began this whole shmozzle ~~ it has become very clear to me on quite a few occasions that the much-maligned Wikipedia is infinitely more accurate than that International Movie DataBase site (imdb.com)...! Several times I have attempted to correct imdb entries by their crappy method, and nothing has happened. They also feature elsewhere a photo of the Beatles with a caption indicating Brian Epstein ~ and the person indicated is most definitely NOT Brian ~ even worse, he's somewhat unattractive. Twice I've sent corrections in to them regarding that photo, and twice I have been rudely ignored. Buttmunches.

Thanks for the link! I agree with you and everyone else--that's definitely not him. I corrected some Beatles friends of mine on this subject just yesterday.

Here's a better look at the Brian contact sheet: Thanks! They do get quite pixelated and blurry when enlarged, don't they? Wouldn't it be fantastic if we had the actual negatives and could make clear prints to scan? *sigh* Or even the contact sheet itself would do wonders. You just KNOW that a lot of the flaws are on purpose ~ so people couldn't do what we're trying to do here; get clear photos! LOL
